Big-time oil price cut set Tuesday

Oil companies have announced a big-time price adjustment on petroleum products beginning Tuesday, March 21.

Shell, Seaoil, and Caltex will have a price reduction of P1.20 per liter of gasoline, while P2.00 per liter of kerosene, and P1.85 per liter of diesel.

Clean Fuel and Petro Gazz will have the same oil price rollback on gasoline and diesel.

The Department of Energy attributed the rollback to the economic uncertainty and the weakness of the financial market in the United States and Europe. KC/Report from Naomi Tiburcio – gb
