Bizman shot dead in Bataan

ABUCAY, Bataan – Two unidentified men gunned down a businessman painting a car inside his residential compound here Thursday afternoon.

Senior Inspector Jennifer Cruz, Abucay police chief, said Joeffrey Anthony Limcangco, 49, died in the garage in front of their house in Barangay Calaylayan, this town.

The victim succumbed to gunshot wounds on the head and different parts of the body from a caliber .40 pistol.

Probers recovered 10 empty shells and three live ammunition from the gun.

Limcangco reportedly owned fishponds and also engaged in buy and sell of cars and lending business.

“Sa CCTV, nakita na may dalawang taong pumasok sa gate. Ang isa suot red helmet at ang isa black helmet kaya hindi mamukhaan. (In CCTV, two persons were seen entering the gate. One was wearing red helmet while the other one was black helmet, that’s why, they cannot be recognized),” Cruz said.

There were reports that the two men, who entered through the open gate of the compound, were part of a group of men in three motorcycles who fled after the shooting.

According to the victim’s wife, Cruz said the husband had not told her of any threat to his life prior to the shooting.
