BOC collection beats September target

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has surpassed its monthly target collection for September despite the implementation of the community quarantine and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the trading environment.

Data show that the total revenue collection for September 2020 reached Php 50.226 billion, higher than the Php 37.715 billion target. Fourteen out of 17 collection districts reported that they have exceeded their projected collection.

The year-to-date collection of the BOC has already reached Php 397.514 billion which is equivalent to 78.54 percent of the target collection for 2020.
