The Bureau of Customs, through the Manila International Container Port-Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (MICP-CIIS), together with the National Bureau of Investigation-Special Action Unit (NBI-SAU) seized various Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) infringing goods in Mapulang Lupa, Valenzuela City on April 22.

The inspection of the warehouse, through a Letter of Authority (LOA) issued by the Commissioner of Customs, revealed the presence of imported kitchenware, housewares, IPR infringing goods, and foodstuff, among others.

The goods found are estimated to be worth P190 million.

Inventory of the goods shall be undertaken by assigned customs examiners and shall be witnessed by CIIS, Enforcement and Security Service (ESS), and representatives of the warehouse.
