BOC to auction P100-M worth of luxury cars

The Bureau of Customs said Tuesday, July 12, they will conduct an online bidding of confiscated illegal 20 luxury car units amounting to almost P100 million.

Aside from the luxury car units, BOC will also auction other illegal cargo, machineries, and commodities.

BOC Deputy Commissioner Atty. Edward Buco assured the public the auction will be “transparent.”

Buco also encouraged private citizens to join the said event to help their agency dispose the cargo under their custody.

BOC joined forces with the Bureau of Treasury, Bureau of Internal Revenue, and the Landbank of the Philippines to ensure the transparency of the bidding.

All online bidding schedules are posted in the official website of BOC and their other official social media pages. —Report from Joshua Garcia/KC – gb
