BSP: Consumer price index in Q3 improves

Based on the latest Consumer Expectation Survey conducted by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, a big chunk of the population has felt that the Philippine economy improved in the third quarter of this year. Thanks to the generation of more jobs, more effective governance and better state of peace and order in the country, the survey result of -1.3% in the second quarter, climbed to 4.3% in the penultimate quarter. Recipients of Overseas Filipino Workers remittances who keep their funds also boosted savings to 37.3%.
