The Department of Justice (DOJ) has demanded an explanation from the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) on the erroneous charges indicated in the documents of Janet Lim Napoles. The papers indicate that she was charged with rape instead of plunder, and that she was released in November 2018 under the Good Conduct Time Allowance (GCTA) Law. The DOJ, however, clarified that Napoles is still in the Correctional Institution for Women.
