Bulacan anti-illegal drug ops net 19 suspects

CAMP GEN. ALEJO S. Santos, Bulacan – At least 19 drug suspects were arrested in intensified anti-illegal drug operations conducted by the Bulacan police on Tuesday.

Acting Bulacan police director Senior Supt. Chito G. Bersaluna said the drug operations were conducted by operatives in the City of  San Jose del Monte and in the towns of Bocaue, Marilao, San Miguel, Hagonoy, Calumpit, Norzagaray and Baliwag.

Bersaluna identified the arrested drug suspects as Jonathan Gonzalez, 31; Windy delos Angeles, 29; Marjorie Mesias, 38; Noel Alsona Jr., 33; Romel Sta. Iglesia, 26; Wilson Soriano, 56; Danilo Salac Busan, 48; Reynaldo Milarpis, 50; Crispin de Guzman, 38; and Arnel Eusebio, 53.

Other arrested suspects were Roderick Villaruel, 42; Noel Tolentino, 35; Jerald Ester, 28; Jonathan Mawal, 44; Rorelyn Flores, 29; Joey Solmayor, 35; Roderick Almansor, 36; Ockzon Hernandez, 38: and Ruel Alcantara, 37.

Bersaluna also said a total of 50 plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth), assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money were confiscated from the suspects during the operations.

“The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examination while criminal complaints against them are being prepared for filing in court,” he added. (Manny Balbin/PNA)
