Two planes carrying two brands of COVID-19 vaccines landed consequently at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 last night (Dec. 13).
DAVAO CITY – The Department of Health (DOH) in Region 11 reported on Sunday (Dec. 12) night eight new cases of COVID-19, with 27 more recoveries bringing down the region’s active cases to 754.
The Department of Health (DOH) denied the “dropping the ball again” remarks made by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Sec. Teodoro Locsin Jr. regarding the government’s ongoing emergency procurement of an additional 50 million microsyringes for COVID-19 vaccines in an interview on Monday (Dec.13).
The Department of Health (DOH) and the National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 said on Sunday (Dec. 12) they are continuously ensuring enough supplies of syringes, both the 0.3ml syringes (microsyringes) that are compatible with the Pfizer vaccine and 0.5ml auto-disable (AD) syringes for all other brands.
National Task Force Against COVID-19 (NTF) revealed that the National Capital Region (NCR) and other targeted areas in the country have surpassed the 90% fully vaccinated rate and now attained the herd immunity threshold.
