Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over the Visayas and northern part of Mindanao due to the tail-end of a frontal system or shear line, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Sunday (Oct. 31).

MANILA – The northeast monsoon, locally known as the "amihan", will bring moderate to strong winds and some rains to Luzon on Saturday (Oct. 30).

The northeast monsoon or "amihan" will continue to bring rains across Luzon as well as some areas in the Visayas and Mindanao, the weather bureau said Thursday (Oct. 28).

Rains will dampen some parts of Luzon due to the northeast monsoon or amihan, the weather bureau said Wednesday (Oct. 27).
