President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. invited foreign businesses to invest in the Philippines as he emphasized that the country is open for business and is ready to partner with them in shaping a brighter future for everyone.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. marked his 66th birthday celebration on Wednesday, Sept. 13, with various activities such as tree planting, feeding, and medical and dental mission organized by the “LAB For All – Lingap at Alagang Bayanihan” in several areas in the country. It is spearheaded by First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos.
More than 400 rice retailers from six areas in the Philippines affected by rice price caps have already received a cash grant from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) amounting to at least P7.5 million.
Another set of cash payouts will be held on Monday, Sept. 11, in the metropolis and in Zamboanga del Sur as part of the efforts of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to assist small rice retailers who were affected by the implementation of the rice price ceilings nationwide.
