The trough of Tropical Storm “Jenny” (international name: Koinu) and the southwest monsoon will bring cloudy skies and rains over parts of the country this Saturday, Sept. 30, according to the state weather bureau.
The low-pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) is expected to enter in the next 24 to 48 hours, a forecaster said Friday.
The trough of a low pressure area (LPA) located 800 kilometers east of extreme Northern Luzon inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) will bring rain showers over the Visayas and parts of Mindanao, the weather bureau said Thursday, Sept. 28.
The state weather bureau said the trough of the low pressure area spotted 1,425 kilometers (km) east of extreme Northern Luzon and the southwest monsoon (habagat) will bring cloudy skies and rains over portions of Visayas and Mindanao on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
The southwest monsoon or habagat will continue to affect the western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas this Tuesday, according to the state weather bureau.
