Several portions of Luzon are under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 as Tropical Storm “Goring” continued to intensify while slowly moving south southwestwardly on Friday morning, Aug. 23, according to the state weather bureau.
The low pressure area east of Aparri, Cagayan has developed into a tropical depression with the domestic name “Doring”, while the southwest monsoon or habagat will continue to affect Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, the state weather bureau said Thursday, Aug. 24.
The southwest monsoon or habagat will continue to affect Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao this Wednesday, Aug. 23, while a low pressure area (LPA) has developed east of Aparri on Tuesday afternoon, according to the state weather bureau.
Many areas in the country will continue to experience rains while a huge portion will also continue to experience warm weather with isolated rain showers, the weather bureau said Friday.
The southwest monsoon or habagat will bring rains and cloudy skies over several portions of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao this Thursday, Aug. 17, according to the country’s weather bureau.
