Typhoon “Jenny” (international name: Koinu) has left the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) as it weakens, state weather bureau PAGASA said Thursday afternoon, Oct. 5.
Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 3 is hoisted over Itbayat, Batanes as Typhoon “Jenny” started its west-northwestward turn towards Taiwan, the weather bureau said Wednesday.
The trough of Tropical Storm “Jenny” (international name: Koinu) and the southwest monsoon will bring cloudy skies and rains over parts of the country this Saturday, Sept. 30, according to the state weather bureau.
The low-pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) is expected to enter in the next 24 to 48 hours, a forecaster said Friday.
