Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, and Western Visayas due to the southwest monsoon or “habagat” that is being enhanced by Typhoon “Chedeng”, the state weather bureau said Saturday, June 10.

The state weather said “Chedeng” has intensified into a typhoon on Thursday afternoon June 8, but remains far from the Philippine landmass.
