Cavite Gov. Remulla orders temporary closure of malls due to lack of physical distancing

Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla has temporarily closed all malls in the province due to the violation of the physical distancing protocol.

According to Governor Remulla, several residents have used their employee I.D. to roam around in malls, and some have dined in even if it is prohibited.

He stated that the closure is only temporary until a plan to strictly implement physical distancing is created.

In his Facebook page, Governor Remulla reported the increase of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in the province within four days, from 239 positive cases on May 13 to 275 positive cases on May 17. He warned that if the number of cases increases, he might strictly implement protocols once again. – Report from Bea Bernardo
