Cebu, hindi magpapatupad ng border control at lockdown kahit nasa Alert Level 3

Walang ipatutupad na lockdown at border control ang lalawigan ng Cebu at ang tatlong lungsod ng Cebu, Mandaue, at Lapu-Lapu sa kabila ng pagsasailalim sa buong isla sa Alert Level 3.

Ayon kay Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia, sumang-ayon din ang mga alkalde ng tatlong lungsod na magpatupad ng One Cebu Island policy.

Magpupulong ulit ang mga opisyales kasama si Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas (OPAV) Sec. Michael Lloyd Dino upang pag-usapan din ang ibang isyu hinggil sa mga bakunado at hindi pa bakunado.

Para kay Garcia, mas nais niyang unahin ang mga nawalan ng tahanan dahil sa Bagyong Odette.

Hindii bababa sa 90,000 ang inisyal na bilang ng mga natukoy na totally damaged houses sa lalawigan.

“Certainly, we cannot say to everyone to stay at home because 90,000 families do not have homes,” pahayag ni Garcia. (Radyo Pilipinas) -ag
