I was informed that a media card or publication material is circulating in social media and private group chats which makes it appear that I am defending Police Senior Master Sgt. Jonel Nuezca for killing Ms. Sonia Gregorio and her son, Frank Anthony Gregorio, yesterday in Paniqui Tarlac.
This is fake news!
In fact, I issued a statement earlier that strongly condemns the actions of the now indicted cop, an extreme opposite of what the fake material attempts to depict.
I advise each and everyone to be prudent in posting and sharing materials that originate from dubious sources as vetting information can now be easily made with our accessibility to several legitimate news platforms. At the same time, I warn enemies of the state who have been trying to cause the public to lose their trust and confidence on our officials through malicious disinformation that those actions will not go unpunished.
