Classes in Luzon suspended due to ‘Gardo’

MANILA –Classes have been suspended on Monday, some up to senior high school only, in some areas in Luzon due to inclement weather brought about by typhoon “Gardo” (international name Maria).

Classes in all levels – both public and private – have been suspended in  Abra, Bataan, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal and Angeles, Pampanga.

In Metro Manila, all private and public schools have suspended classes in the cities of Caloocan, Las Piñas, City of Manila, Malabon, Marikina, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Paranaque, Pateros, Pasay, San Juan and Valenzuela.

Classes from preschool to high school in private and public schools have been suspended in Mangaldan, Pangasinan and Zambales except Olongapo City.

The announcements of class suspensions were posted on the official Facebook pages of the concerned local government units.
