MANILA — Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will prevail over most parts of the archipelago due to localized thunderstorms affecting the whole country, the weather bureau said Sunday.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and localized thunderstorms will affect Metro Manila, while the southwesterlies will affect the western sections of Luzon and Visayas, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its latest weather forecast.

Light to moderate winds will blow all over the country while coastal waters along all areas will be slight to moderate.

The minimum temperature for the day is 26.8°C, and the maximum will be 34.2°C, PAGASA said.
