COMELEC urges voters to register

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) urges the public to register and make their votes count in the 2022 National Elections.

According to COMELEC Spokesperson James Jimenez, the voter’s registration will not be extended this year.

The COMELEC also reminds Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) repatriates to prepare their transfer of registration for them to vote. The deadline has been set on August 31 but only 12,000 have registered so far out of 600,000 OFW repatriates.
