Consumers face water interruption amidst #UlyssesPH

Majority of the Maynilad and Manila Water consumers are experiencing water interruption due to Typhoon #UlyssesPH.

Manila Water has pointed out that several reservoirs have not been filled up due to power outage and flooding in some pumping stations resulting to the water interruption in a few towns of Rizal, and the cities of Pasig and Marikina.

On the other hand, according to Maynilad, the turbidity level from Ipo Dam has increased causing the water concessionaire to reduce production in its water treatment plants and ensure that the water received by the consumers is of good quality.

The areas affected by the water interruption include parts of Cavite, and the cities of Quezon, Navotas, Valenzuela, Parañaque, Caloocan, Las Piñas, Makati, Manila, and Pasay.

Both water companies are asking for the public’s indulgence on this matter.
