Cops raid abortion clinic in Parañaque

Operatives from the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) raided a suspected abortion clinic in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque.

Six Chinese nationals and one Filipino were arrested during the operation.

Different types of abortion pills were also discovered.

Several weeks of surveillance were conducted following a tip from an informant before the test-buy operation at the clinic.

The suspects are now in the custody of the NCRPO and will be charged for violating the Medical Act and the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Report from Patrick de Jesus/TC – gb
