COTABATO CITY — Suspicious persons on board motorcycles are on the top of the list of the city police office following a daring fatal shooting along a residential area here Friday morning.

For still unknown reason, unidentified persons riding in tandem shot dead Raffy Abdullah, a security guard, along Barangay Rosary Heights 13, this city at about 7 a.m.

Senior Supt. Rolly Octavio, city police director, said the victim was on board his motorbike and was traversing Sausa St. when overtaken by his assailants, who pumped bullets on him.

Responding cops brought the victim to the hospital but he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police investigators have yet to determine the motive of the killing but are pursuing personal grudge as an angle.

“These ‘riding-in-tandems’ are getting bolder in their nefarious activities and they should be stopped,” Octavio said.

He added that they have invited several persons of interest to shed light on the case. (Noel Punzalan/PNA)
