COVID-19 first dose administered to more than 100% of NCR target population

The National Capital Region (NCR) has administered the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to more than 100% of the target population according to Cabinet Sec. and acting Presidential Spokesperson Karlo Nograles during the Presidential Spokesperson public briefing on Tuesday, Nov. 16.

This was shown in a report of the National COVID-19 vaccination board dated Nov. 16.

The report also shows that 92.72% or 9,064,731 people in NCR have already been administered the second dose.

The total doses administered for NCR adds up to 19,145,310.

Meanwhile, the total doses of COVID-19 vaccines administered in the country reached 71,680,132, with 51.16% or 39,467,788 getting their first dose and 41.76% or 32,212,344 fully vaccinated.

Healthcare workers started getting their booster shots on Wednesday (Nov. 17).
