CSC comes up with omnibus guidelines for employees’ safety

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is creating omnibus guidelines to ensure the safety of employees and to avoid the interruption of service in government offices.

The guidelines will include the applicability of the skeletal workforce, work from home set-up and the basis for daily output. The CSC also issued guidelines for government employees who will be sick in this time of pandemic. The guidelines contain ways to help an employee who is positive with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The CSC has also reiterated that government employees must stand for integrity in serving the public. – Report from Louise Erispe
