The Civil Service Commission (CSC) launched its 2021 nationwide Government Online Career Fair from Sep. 20 to Sep. 24.

In today’s (Sep. 20) Laging Handa public briefing, CSC Commissioner Aileen Lizada said a total of 127 government agencies have participated in the job fair with a total of 2,660 vacancies covering 1,440 jobs.

ā€œThese are mga state universities, mga local government units and mayroon po tayo ditong 13 hospitals and centers, kasama na po dito iyong East Avenue Medical Center, Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital, UP-PGH, Amai Pakpak Medical Center, Quirino Memorial Medical Center among others.Ā  Mayroon pong DOTr, DOT, MIAA, BCDA, DDB – marami po – NEDA, mayroon pong LBP, Landbank, DOTr, Philippine Air Force, PDIC, CHR at iba pa po,ā€ she said.

Lizada said the following job vacancies can be found in the career fair:

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Revenue officers (693 vacancies)

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Medical officer (235 vacancies)

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Jail officer 1 (160 vacancies)

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Administrative assistant (119 vacancies)

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Medical specialist (52 vacancies)

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Account assistant (50 vacancies)

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  IT specialist (50 vacancies)

She said that the ā€œgeneral ruleā€ to apply is the necessary education, training, experience, and eligibility.

Ito po iyong there are special grants na binigay, let say if you graduated with honors, PD 907; if you are an honor student in a foreign country which is acknowledged or accredited by our government, mga BNS (Barangay Nutrition Scholar), Barangay Health Workers,ā€ she said.

Lizada assured that job applicants are given ā€œequal opportunity.ā€

So tinanggal po natin iyan on the part of the CSC and if you have the four requirements and then you meet them, it will be based po doon po sa ating [requirements], everybody will be given an equal opportunity po.ā€

The CSC chief explained that the requirements for the career fair are the personal data sheet and an account in JobStreet.
