DA extends assistance to Caraga farmers, fisherfolk

Various fishing and farming cooperatives in Caraga Region have received new equipment from the Department of Agriculture (DA) which included environment-friendly fishing gears and paraphernalia, and 8 hauling trucks valued at PhP10.9 million. The hardware is expected to facilitate the transportation of the agricultural workers’ products. The DA also conducted fingerlings dispersal and dialogue with the fishermen and farmers in the area. CARAGA was granted about Php 40 million worth of assistance for both farmers and fisherfolks.
