DA provides P2.2B worth of assistance to farmers affected by #UlyssesPH

The Department of Agriculture (DA) provided Php 2.2 billion worth of assistance to farmers affected by the onslaught of Typhoon “Ulysses” in Cagayan Valley.

The DA has also distributed rice, corn, vegetables, fertilizers, pigs, chickens, goats, and ducks to help farmers recover from their loss when the typhoon struck their area.

DA Secretary William Dar stated that the department’s distribution of aid is timely since the months of November and December are planting season. – PTV News
