DA tackles effects of climate change on the agricultural sector

By Pearl Gumapos

The Department of Agriculture (DA) on Sunday (March 6) in its OneDA sa TV program tackled the effects of climate change on the agricultural sector.

Nasisira ang mga imprastraktura,” she said.

Ilaga also said that climate change affects livestock and poultry products.

Pati iyong pagbigat nila nababawasan,” she said.

Meanwhile, the DA has countermeasure programs like the AMIA [Adaptation and Mitigation Initiative in Agriculture].

The AMIA is coordinated and managed by the Systems-Wide Climate Change Office (DA-SWCCO). – bny
