Dacquel to fight Japanese boxer in Hong Kong bout

DAVAO CITY – Renz ” Thunder” Dacquel of the Philippines will fight Nanako Suzuki of Japan for a non-title bout at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center in Hong Kong on Sunday.

The 21-year-old Dacquel (1W-1L-0D, 1KO) defeated Kathleen Paptie by technical knockout in the first round of the boxing event in La Trinidad on Nov. 27, 2017.

Nanako (3W-1L-0D, 1KO), on the other hand, beat Sachiko Kondo by unanimous decision at the Korakuen Hall on Nov. 20, 2018.

The 19-year-old Nanako TKO’d Ka Yan Wong of Hong Kong at the Southorn Stadium in Hong Kong on July 14, 2018.

Meanwhile, Raymond Poon KaiChing is ready to defend his Asian Boxing Federation and World Boxing Council Asian Boxing Council light flyweight titles against Xiang Li of China.

KaiChing will also defend his vacant World Boxing Organization Youth light flyweight title.
