Dar: ASF-hit areas quarantined

The Department of Agriculture (DA) continues to monitor different localities afflicted by African Swine Fever (ASF). According to Agriculture Chief William Dar, ASF has spread to 13 sites across the country, including several barangays in Bulacan, Pangasinan, and Pampanga. The agency also closely observes the transport of pork in the plagued areas. The DA reiterates that pork is still safe for human consumption. To prove this, a boodle fight was conducted by the DA in the City of Manila earlier today.
