DENR, DPWH to lead Build Back Better Task Force


Malacañang confirmed that Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Roy Cimatu and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar will lead the Build Back Better Task Force.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque pointed out that the two secretaries were chosen to lead the task force since their respective agencies are often focused on rehabilitation and recovery efforts of the government every time devastating calamities hit the country. Other government offices will remain as members of the said task force. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
