The Department of Education (DepEd) announced that it will grant P3,000 worth of bonus to all its eligible teaching and non-teaching personnel in line with its 125th founding anniversary celebration.

Based on DepEd Order No. 11 or the “Policy on the Grant of Anniversary Bonus in the Department of Education,” the personnel must have at least a year of service at the department.

The grant also covers full-time or part-time permanent, coterminous, provisional, temporary, casual, or contractual employees.

However, those absent without leave or are no longer in service as of June 23, as well as those who have been found guilty of work-related offenses within five years are not covered.

The anniversary bonus will be granted no earlier than June 23.
