DepEd gears up for PPP roadshow to lure investors to Calabarzon

IMUS CITY, Cavite — The Department of Education (DepEd) Calabarzon Region will embark on public-private partnership (PPP) roadshow in the region comprising Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon starting April 24 at Lipa City, Batangas.

DepEd Calabarzon Regional Director Diosdado M. San Antonio has directed all school division superintendents to engage in the activities in line with the DepEd Memorandum No. 7 s. 2018 that targets potential education partners at the local level to participate in education and provide a venue to encourage potential partners to invest in education.

The said roadshow which would kick off with a motorcade also aims to showcase the regional and division initiatives for partnerships and best practices in engaging partners.

The event will also highlight the crucial role of stakeholders in promoting basic quality education through transparent, ethical and accountable governance.

Participants to this activity are Schools Division Superintendents/Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, School Governance Operations Division (SGOD) chiefs, among others, as well as a local government unit’s focal person, private individual and other organizations. (PNA)
