DepEd on quality control mechanism of learning materials

The Department of Education (DepEd) would like to reiterate that an existing quality control mechanism is in place for all the learning materials being produced by the Department.

Our DepEd Error Watch handles error reports found on SLMs, other printed materials, DepEd TV, DepEd Commons, and DepEd TV YouTube Channel. Any report of erroneous material is immediately being investigated and verified if the source came from the Department.

According to the latest DepEd Error Watch data, a majority of these reported materials –some of which went viral in social media– were not DepEd-produced.

In line with this, we would like to remind the public to direct any concern on learning materials to the proper channel for appropriate action.

Concerns may be reported through bit.ly/DepEdErrorWatch; or email [email protected]; via text and Viber message through 0961-6805334; through Facebook Messenger: DepEd Error Watch (@depederrorwatch); and through Workchat DepEd Error Watch (deped.workplace.com/groups/616392985671470/)
