DepEd opposes ‘no fail policy’ amidst COVID-19 pandemic

The Department of Education (DepEd) opposes the “no fail policy” for all students amidst the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

According to DepEd Undersecretary Diosdado San Antonio, it is unjust to pass a student without interest in his/her studies. It will not be fair to other students who diligently do their school works just to pass their subjects.

USec. San Antonio points out that a student will have better motivation if his/her studies are properly graded. -PTV News
