DepEd regional offices release 2017 PBB for school personnel

MANILA — The 2017 performance-based bonus (PBB) for Department of Education (DepEd) school personnel in seven regions has been released.

In a statement released Wednesday night, DepEd said more schools in the National Capital Region (NCR); Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon (Calabarzon); Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan (Mimaropa); Bicol region; Central Visayas; southern Mindanao; and South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani and General Santos City (Soccsksargen) have started releasing the PBB to school-based personnel.

The first to release the PBB to school-based personnel was DepEd-Central Luzon last January 21.

Meanwhile, the Department of Budget and Management has endorsed the processing and release of funds for the Ilocos region, Cagayan Valley, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao and Cordillera Administrative Region to the respective DBM regional offices.

The DBM is currently processing the 2017 PBB for Western Visayas and Caraga.
