DICT asks LGUs to submit list of vaccinated residents for digital vax certificate

The Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) asked the local government units (LGUs) to submit the list of their vaccinated residents for its digital vaccine certificate project.

DICT Secretary Gregorio Honasan II said on Thursday (Aug. 12) that the LGUs can use the DICT-Vaccination Administration System (D-VAS) to submit their list.

He added that they have been coordinating with the Department of Health (DOH) to provide all vaccinated individuals nationwide with the “VaxCertPH” following a tweet by Foreign Sec. Teodoro Locsin Jr. saying that the PH vax cards are not accepted in Hong Kong for not being “connected to a single source.”
