Diesel, Gasoline prices up again on Tuesday

MANILA — Local oil companies are set to implement a modest increase in the prices of unleaded gasoline and diesel effective 6 a.m. Tuesday, August 14.

In separate announcements, local oil firms announced they will increase the prices of diesel by PHP0.25 per liter, while unleaded gasoline by PHP0.15 per liter.

There will be no price adjustment for kerosene, which was slashed by PHP0.25 per liter last week.

It may be recalled that last week, oil companies also implemented a price rollback of PHP0.10 per liter for gasoline, and PHP0.10 per liter for diesel.

Spokesmen for the oil firms said price adjustments reflect the movements in the international petroleum market which they are only passing on to Filipino consumers. (Ma. Cristina Arayata/PNA)
