DILG condemns NPA ambush on PNP and military members

By Pearl Gumapos

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) condemned the ambush of the New People’s Army against members of the PNP and the military in Surigao del Sur on Wednesday, Dec. 15.

Malaya called for the NPA members to put their country first before their personal interests.

Meanwhile, Surigao del Sur Gov. Alexander Pimentel was the one who told of the incident during the Laging Handa public briefing.

Bakit in-ambush niyo?,” he said. – bny
