DILG eradicates illegal firecrackers

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has ordered the Philippine National Police to augment the crackdown on prohibited firecrackers, following the 46 firework-related injuries that transpired from December 21 to 29, 2019. Any transaction involving the items were similarly prohibited. The DILG noted that such items proliferate to date.
