DILG urges mall, resort owners to follow health protocols

Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año warned mall and resort owners of suspending their business permits once they violate the health protocols.

The warning was issued by the DILG Chief following the report of an increase in the number of establishments violating the protocols. This is also in anticipation of the holidays.

DILG Sec. Año stated that it is the responsibility of the establishments to implement the proper minimum health standards in accordance with the government’s guidelines to prevent the further spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Sec. Año reiterated the required protocols such as wearing of face mask and face shield, and maintaining physical distancing while exploring the malls or resorts. – PTV News
