DMW to offer 1.5K jobs at first seafarers jobs fair

About 1,500 jobs will be up for grabs during the first ever Seafarers Jobs Fair to be hosted by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) on Wednesday, June 28.

DMW said 27 manning agencies, all of which are excellence, top performer, and presidential awardees, will offer various cruise ship openings with rating and officer positions.

Work categories include hotel, restaurant, galley, food and beverage, casino, bars, photo, beauty parlor, spa and salon, information technology, entertainment, and housekeeping.

The jobs fair will be held at the DMW Blas F. Ople Building in Ortigas from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. -ag
