DOH alleviates condition of Mindanao evacuees

The Department of Health (DOH) continues to help out in mitigating the unfavorable condition of the afflicted residents in Mindanao. The assistance comes in the shape of mental health and psycho-social services, averting various diseases, establishment of additional evacuation centers, and creation of further lavatories in the evacuation sites.

Meanwhile, in the face of 137 partially-damaged and 14 totally-destroyed health facilities in Southern Philippines, the health department hastens the assessment on these establishments in order to start immediately the fixing of said structures.
