DOH allocates an initial Php 2.4B of 2021 budget for COVID19 vaccine

The Department of Health (DOH) is allocating Php 2.4 billion for the COVID-19 vaccine under its 2021 proposed budget.

DOH Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said it is only the initial amount and may still increase.

The health department has also been coordinating with other government agencies for the vaccines the country will purchase.

Meanwhile, the clinical trial for the anti-flu drug Avigan will push through on August 17 wherein 100 patients will participate. – Report from Sandra Samala
