DOH cautions public on rainy season diseases

The Department of Health (DOH) reminds the public to take precautions on the possible diseases during rainy season such as dengue.

According to USec. Maria Rosario Vergeire, the programs of the health department against other diseases amid the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic are still ongoing. Based on their data, the number of dengue cases this year is 46 percent lower than last year.

The DOH is urging the public to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings to keep dengue-carrying mosquitoes from multiplying.
