The Department of Health postponed on Sunday, June 26, the rollout of the first COVID-19 booster shot for non-immunocompromised children aged 12-17.
DOH said they postponed the vaccine rollout “in favor of better planning” between the National Vaccine Operation Center and vaccination hubs of local government units.
“The DOH will provide updates as soon as there are further developments,” it said.
The booster rollout was supposed to start on Saturday, June 25. -KC/gb
