DOH records more recoveries than new infections

The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday (Jan. 18) recorded more recoveries than new infections.

The total amount of new recoveries is 34,892, while the amount of new infections is 28,471.

Currently, there are 3,270,758 cases with 8.7% or 284,458 active cases.

There were 34 deaths today.

“Pinapaalalahanan ang lahat ng huwag maging kampante sa banta ng COVID-19. Bagkus, dapat natin ipagpatuloy ang tamang pagsunod sa minimum public health standards at laging magsuot ng facemask, mag physical distancing, at maghugas ng kamay,” a DOH statement said. – PG-rir
