DOH to put up vax sites in polling precincts on May 9

The Department of Health (DOH) will put up vaccination sites in all polling precincts on election day, May 9, to encourage more Filipinos to get vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.

In the May 7 Laging Handa briefing, DOH Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said vaccination sites will be set up to “bring the vaccine closer to people” and to further intensify the government’s goal of vaccinating more Filipinos.

Vergeire said vaccination sites will be located 30 meters away from polling precincts.

Voters who will avail of the free COVID-19 vaccine jabs will need to present their vaccination cards and ID. – gb
